Also not taken over: guest, order, payment and invoice data. There is no ongoing sync with GloriaFood.

What happens after the check?

From the check to your finished menu.

  1. Import

    In the restaurant area you enter the same key, choose the tax and see a preview with every note.

  2. Review

    The menu arrives hidden. You compare prices and sizes, check allergens and labels and add images.

  3. Go live

    You switch the categories on, test an order and then switch over. GloriaFood keeps running until then.

What is the GloriaFood menu key?

A key you generate in GloriaFood for the “Fetch Menu” integration template. It lets another system read your menu. Each location has its own key.

Does OrderKick store my key or my menu?

No. The key is sent to GloriaFood for that one request only. The page shows numbers only. Neither the key nor the menu is stored.

Is my menu imported by the check?

No. The check is only a preview. You import your menu with an OrderKick account in the restaurant area, with a preview, the tax choice and every note.

What does the import take over?

Categories, dishes, descriptions, sizes with prices, choice groups and options with surcharges, required choices, minimum and maximum, and the order types per dish. Allergens and labels are imported when GloriaFood provides them unambiguously; check them before publishing.

What does the import not take over?

Images, nutrition values, time rules and allergens without a clear match. Entries with a time rule are created hidden. Guest, order, payment and invoice data stay with GloriaFood.

Why is tax missing from the result?

GloriaFood sends no tax rates. When you import in the restaurant area, you choose the tax for the dishes yourself.

How often can I use the check?

A few times an hour. This protects the request from misuse.
